Hi, thanks for visiting!

An artist for over twenty years, my creative practice casts a wide net. I'm an abstract expressionist painter, botanical illustrator, surface pattern & logo designer.

I grew up in the Pine Barrens, in South Jersey, & moved to New York City to attend School of Visual Arts. I received my BFA, Dean’s List, in 2006 and remained in the city for over a decade. In a way the city helped raise me and shape me as an artist. There I discovered my interest in nutrition and herbal medicine. I worked in two well known nutritional supplementation shops and apothecaries. I did not end up pursuing a career as a nutritionist, but I have worked as a nutrition educator and private chef for years. It is another creative avenue I have carved out for myself.

Around five years ago I immersed myself in Adobe Illustrator and learned how to make repeat patterns. It opened up a whole other creative avenue and is a delight to design patterns for textiles and wall coverings (etc.).

While abstract painting is my main squeeze, my love for home decor, illustration, and design make me an extremely versatile artist. Having variety keeps things fresh and offers a keen perspective.

When I'm not in my studio, I enjoy hiking, studying nutrition, making herbal infusions, cooking, spending time with loved ones, and lounging.
